Well, it’s been persisting down all day, so with little to do, I decided to give nature a helping hand.
I filled a container with manure, carted it into the greenhouse and spent a couple of hours breaking it down by hand into small pieces and mixing it with top soil ready to add to the raised beds.
Boy is that stuff hard to clean off your hands. Some of it won’t budge from under the fingernails. I must remember not to pick my nose tonight while watching the TV.
